Giancarlo holds a degree in Economics from the “La Sapienza” University of Rome.

Fabrizio Arena holds a degree in Economics (Business Administration) from "La Sapienza" University of Rome.

Bio: Kurt Baes is a Partner in Arthur D. Little's Brussels office and responsible for the Operations Management Practice in Benelux. He has over 17 years of consulting experience in Europe and Asia/China, mainly in the energy & utilities, manufacturing and chemicals industries. His area of expertise covers market strategy, organization diagnostic and redesign, change management, post-merger integration, risk and portfolio management, strategic sourcing and overall performance improvement. Kurt Baes holds an MSc degree from K.U. Leuven and an MBA from Cornel University (New York), and speaks Dutch, French, English and German.

Bio: Ralf Baron is a Partner in the Frankfurt office of Arthur D. Little. He is Global Head of the Travel & Transportation Practice. He has supported clients in many industries, from automotive and manufacturing to national and international public organizations. Ralf Baron's extensive experience includes strategy and organization, performance improvement, post-merger integration, change management and project management. Ralf Baron studied political sciences with a focus on international economics and quantitative empirical research.

Bio: Niklas Brundin is Head of the Automotive and Manufacturing Group in the Nordic countries. He has worked for Arthur D. Little since the beginning of 1999, helping clients succeed in a broad range of issues, ranging from operations management to strategy and M&A. Niklas holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.

Bio: Antoine Doyon is Arthur D. Little's Head of China and is located in the Shanghai Office. He is a member of the Automotive and Manufacturing Group, with extensive experience in management consulting on strategic and performance improvement issues. He has developed deep knowledge in the automotive industry with OEMs and tier-1 suppliers, and substantial experience in manufacturing and process industries. Antoine Doyon holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the ESCP and the University Paris-Dauphine.

Bio: Yusuke Harada is based in Arthur D. Little's Tokyo office. His professional focus is on strategic planning and organization. He has major industry experience in the manufacturing and high-technology industries, as well as in the automotive industry. Yusuke holds a B.E. in Metallurgy and Material Science from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, an M.S. in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) and an M.S. in International Business Management from M.I.T.’s Sloan School of Management.

Bio: Dr. Rolf Janssen is a Partner in our global AMG practice and is located in the Arthur D. Little office in Frankfurt (Germany). His business focus is Automotive, Engineering & Manufacturing and Operations Management. Rolf brings an experience of over 13 years working with global automotive, engineering and transportation clients with top management consulting firms. His functional strengths are in topics related to enterprise-wide restructuring, strategic alignment of operational business units as well as cost-efficiency programs in operations and production periphery. In advance to his consulting career, Rolf had a 6 year experience in R&D as a research engineer for aerospace, automotive and machine-tool industry. He owns a Diploma degree in production technologies and a PhD in manufacturing technologies, both from the University of Bremen.

Bio: Francesco Marsella, married with two daughters, has a degree in Engineering from the University La Sapienza of Rome, an MBA from SDA Bocconi in Milan and was visiting student at ESADE Business School in Barcelona.Francesco is a Partner based in Rome and has a primary focus in the Automotive and Travel & Transportation.
In his career he has led several marketing & sales projects, reorganization and business model transformation, driving major national and international players from the formulation of the strategy to its implementation, with a recognized commitment for results.

Bio: Michael W. Rüger is a Partner of our global Automotive Practice and is located in our office in Frankfurt (Germany). He gained extensive industry experience in the Automotive and Manufacturing & Engineering industries and has many years of experience as a Top Management Consultant at leading, international consultancies. Michael is an expert for Enterprise-wide Operational Excellence – this covers the functions Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality and After Sales. Therefore his focus lies on holistic performance improvement of value chains and companies, strategic alignment of the operations, capability building and larger restructuring and transformation programs. He supports his clients in Europe and their activities abroad. Michael studied at the University of Karlsruhe (Karlsruhe Institute of technology) and holds a degree in industrial engineering.

Bio: Klaus Schmitz is a Partner in the Information Management practice in Arthur D. Little’s Munich office, with an affiliation with AMG. The functional focus of his work lies in the areas of eBusiness, IT strategy, organizations & processes and innovation and technology.
Klaus Schmitz has a strong focus in automotive. Among his other fields of expertise are IT strategy development at corporate, business unit and functional level; eBusiness design and implementation; organization and process design; and process integration, as well as mastering innovation and technology. He studied Information Systems at the University of Bamberg and holds a PhD in Information Systems. He has been a lecturer for the universities Bamberg and Duisburg-Essen, as well as for the University of Bayreuth in the area of Information Management. Klaus Schmitz is author of several papers and conference contributions in the field of information systems.
