Our client asked Arthur D. Little to develop a new technology strategy following a merger


The challenge was to develop a strategy that would support the client's aggressive, post-merger growth targets.


Our work covered three stages:

  • An assessment of the external technology environment and the development of possible future scenarios
  • The integration of this assessment with an evaluation of the client's and competitors' technologies to identify potential opportunities and threats
  • Assistance with technology-delivery processes - improved processes for portfolio alignment, project management and knowledge management


We developed a clear and compelling technology strategy, including new capability platforms, new ways of working and recommendations for improved delivery.
