About Nima

Nima is a Partner based in our Dubai office. He is a member of the Middle East Partner Group and Co-Managing Partner of our Tehran office. He is a core member of the “Strategy & Organization” Practice. In Iran, he focuses on the following sectors: Energy and Oil & Gas, Financial Institutions and Conglomerates and Holdings.

Prior to joining Arthur D. Little, Nima worked for The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in its Amsterdam, London and Dubai offices from 2000 to 2014, and supported clients across many geographies (over 20 countries across three continents) and a variety of topics and sectors.

In addition to his consulting experience, Nima is an avid value investor and angel investor. He has been involved in four VC-backed companies in Europe and the Middle East, and follows global capital markets closely.

Nima holds a Master’s degree (Electrical Engineering with a focus on Telecommunications) from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, and an MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore. He is fluent in Dutch, English and Farsi and has conversational skills in German and French.

Nima is married to Dorra, and they have a son called Alex (born 2015). They live in Dubai. In his free time, Nima is an avid golfer and cyclist. He also enjoys reading finance, history and biography books.
