About Sander

Sander is a Partner at Arthur D. Little and has over 16 years of management consulting experience, with a special focus on the telecommunication industry across Europe, Middle East and the US. 

He is a topic expert in: 

  • Corporate Strategy and strategic planning/implementation
  • Commercial operations in marketing and sales
  • Corporate governance and operating model (with a focus on multi-sector holdings)
  • Organizational design and effectiveness

Initially, Sander worked at Oliver Wyman in Barcelona and moved to the Dubai office in 2006. Early 2011, Sander left to pursue opportunities in Iran, where he worked with the mobile and fixed incumbent telecom operators and their respective shareholders. In 2012 he set up his own firm, Novo Management Consultants, targeting the Iranian telecom market leading a larger team of up to 12 consultants. In 2015, he joined forces with Nima Obbohat and co-founded BlackBridge Associates, to target the larger Iranian market, beyond the telecommunication sector. He joined Arthur D. Little since 2016, focusing primarily on public sector and conglomerates, telecommunication services and FMCG.

Sander is a Dutch national. He has a MSc. degree in economics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam in The Netherlands.
