Mitch Beaumont is a Partner of Arthur D. Little in the firm’s San Francisco office, and leads the Technology & Information Management Practice in the USA.

He has over 25 years of industry and consulting experience across the medical technology, biotechnology, telecommunications, and consumer & industrial products industries.

Mitch is passionate about getting more value from R&D dollars and driving profitable growth by helping companies determine where to innovate, what to innovate, and how to innovate. His efforts have enabled his clients to expand into new markets, create new business models, deliver better products, and reduce time-to-market.

He is an expert at building sustainable capabilities in innovation management, portfolio and product strategy, customer insight generation, and product development and management.

Mitch earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.

He is Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) by APICS.
