Bio: Nils Bohlin is a Partner of Arthur D. Little and Global Leader of the Health Care and Life Science Practice based in Stockholm. His work includes corporate and business unit strategy, organization design and development, business planning for large, medium-sized and small companies in the life science sector, and innovation and productivity in the health care sector. Nils Bohlin is a frequent speaker and lecturer on strategic issues in the life science sector and is engaged in the development of regional clusters in biotechnology. He is co-author of the international best sellers Third Generation R&D and The Innovation Premium, and a book on how to ensure growth in the Swedish economy, Växa Snabbare. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Chalmers and a Bachelor of Humanities from the University of Gothenburg.

Bio: Mitch Beaumont is a Partner of Arthur D. Little in the firm's San Francisco office and leads the firm's Technology and Innovation Management Practice in the U.S. He has over 25 years of industry and consulting experience across medical devices & technology, biotechnology, telecommunications, and consumer & industrial products industries. Mitch is passionate about getting more value from R&D dollars and driving profitable growth by helping companies determine where to innovate, what to innovate, and how to innovate. His efforts have enabled his clients to expand into new markets, create new business models, deliver better products, and reduce time-to-market. He is an expert at building sustainable capabilities in innovation management, portfolio and product strategy, customer insight generation, and product development and management. Mitch earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management. He is also Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) by APICS.

Bio: John W. Brennan is a Managing Director of Arthur D. Little, leading the firm's businesses in North America.
John has been at Arthur D. Little for more than 18 years and previously served as its Global Healt hcare and Life Sciences Practice Leader. In addition to health care and life sciences, John’s clients include leading private equity, food & beverage, consumer, electronics, technology, and energy/resource companies.
John specializes in investment advisory, mergers & acquisitions, growth strategies, financing, and development of technology ventures, technology commercialization, innovation management, and restructuring. John has negotiated, structured, and advised on over $10 billion of transactions during his professional career.
John’s private sector experience includes serving as President and Head of R&D for a venture-capital financed technology company and Senior Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for a $65 million private-equity financed healthcare services organization. John earned an MPH from Harvard University, an MBA from Northeastern University and an AB from the College of the Holy Cross.

Bio: Marc Herlant is a Partner based in Brussels and a core member of ADL's global Health Care and Life Sciences practice. He has more than 25 years professional experience, out of which 20+ in consulting. Beside his deep experience in the Life Sciences industry, he has also served a variety of clients in other industries such as Private Equity, Consumer Products, Industrial goods, and Telecom. Marc also has a broad functional expertise, covering large transformation programs, PMI's, operations, due diligences and commercial strategies. Marc holds a degree of Business Engineer from Solvay Business School and a Master in Tax Management.

Bio: Maki Kurosawa is located in our office in Tokyo, where she heads the consumer/healthcare practice of Arthur D. Little (Japan). Her expertise ranges from visionary leadership planning to mid-/long-term corporate and business strategy planning, including international business expansion, R&D and technology innovation. She has extensive experience supporting leading Japanese and international companies in the fields of FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) and healthcare from B2B to B2C. She is also a well-known author and speaker on topics related to nutraceutical strategy development in the Japanese food and healthcare sector. She received a B.S. from Tohoku University.

Bio: Wilhelm Lerner leads Arthur D. Little's Central Europe Strategy & Organization Practice, located in Frankfurt. Within his more than 25 years of management consulting work, he has supported clients in the consumer goods and retail, construction, chemicals and manufacturing industries in strategy development, accelerating growth, marketing, sales and performance improvement with his considerable expertise, which was gained worldwide. Wilhelm holds a Beverage Engineering Degree and a Master of Business Administration.

Bio: Fredrik de Maré is a San Francisco-based Partner of Arthur D. Little where he leads the firm’s US West Coast Healthcare Practice. He has over twenty years of industry and management consulting experience across the biopharmaceutical and medical technology sectors, and has assisted numerous life sciences clients in areas such as operational strategy, supply chain and manufacturing strategy development, merger integration, operational due diligence, innovation and product development excellence, and commercial readiness and launch. Fredrik joined Arthur D. Little in 2015. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a BS Degree in Engineering Management, and received an MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School with a dual concentration in Supply Chain Management and Management Consulting. Fredrik is also Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) by APICS.

Bio: Dr. Ulrica Sehlstedt is a Partner in Arthur D. Little’s Stockholm office. She is a member of the Healthcare Practice and affiliated with the Strategy & Organization Practice. Her work includes strategy development, opportunity assessment, public procurement, operational & commercial due diligence, change management and program management, for both healthcare suppliers (pharma, medtech and biotech companies) and providers (public and private). Before joining Arthur D. Little in 2007, Ulrica spent seven years as CEO of a molecular diagnostics start-up. She has also been a member of the Swedish Research Council’s Scientific Council for Medicine for six years. Ulrica holds a PhD in Biophysics from Stockholm University and an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.

Daniel Seitz studied business administration in Reutlingen and London.
