Christian is a Senior Manager in Arthur D. Little’s Global Chemicals Practice in Houston, USA where his primary focus is on strategy development and industrial company due diligence for M&A combined with intellectual property evaluation and technology portfolio analysis. He has been involved in the development of a global growth strategy involving M&A for a multi-billion chemical company to become a leader in the oil and gas field chemicals business, and has also been involved in the due diligent analysis of major chemicals producers, established a feedstock diversification strategy, and developed a business strategy for the purchase of the majority ownership of a National Oil Company. Prior to joining Arthur D. Little, Christian gained extensive experience at ExxonMobil in varying business and technology functions. A Postdoctoral Fellow at MIT in Chemical Engineering, he also holds a PhD in Chemistry from Oxford University; an MBA from Rice University, and a BS/MS Degree in Chemistry at Munich Technical University. He has published more than 20 papers in peer-reviewed journals and books.
