Bio: Karim Taga is Arthur D. Little's Managing Partner in Austria. He specializes in telecommunications and acts as Global Practice Leader of our TIME (Telecommunications, Information Technology, Media and Electronics) Practice.
Karim received a Mast er of Science in 1989 from the Ecole Supérieure de l'Energie et des Matériaux, Orléans, France, with a master's thesis accomplishment at the University of California, Berkeley. While a research assistant at the Vienna University of Technology, he developed an infrared fiber optical sensor. He received his Ph.D. in 1992, followed by an MBA in International Business from the Webster University St Louis, MO in 1993.
Karim Taga speaks French, Arabic, English and German.
Contact Giancarlo Agresti
Bio: Giancarlo Agresti is located in our Rome office and heads our Global Automotive Practice. During the last 25 years, Giancarlo has assisted relevant telecommunication, media and automotive players in their strategy decisions (regulatory positioning, turnaround plan, pricing and costing strategy) and performance improvement programs (retail network optimization, customer experience excellence programs, performance model design, profitability analysis). Giancarlo holds a degree in Economics from the “La Sapienza” University of Rome.

Bio: Ignacio García Alves is Arthur D. Little's Chief Executive Officer and located in the Brussels office. Ignacio García Alves focuses on strategy formulation for high-tech companies and network industries (telecommunications, transport and utilities) in fast-moving or uncertain environments. Other areas of expertise are growth strategies, strategic marketing, transaction services and post-merger integration. Ignacio holds an MSc (with Honors) in Electrical Engineering from the Delft University of Technology (Netherlands) and an EMIM (with Honors) – European Masters in Management – from ESCP Europe (the European School of Management) in Oxford, Madrid and Paris.

Bio: Guillem is a partner based in Arthur D. Little's Houston office. He leads the Latin America TIME (Telecommunications, IT, Media and Electronics) Practice. His professional focus is on marketing and sales strategies, corporate and growth strategy, business transformation, customer experience management and operational performance improvement. For many years he has assisted players in the telecom industry (mobile, fixed, broadband and pay-TV) across Latin American countries.
Guillem received his degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona and an MBA from ESADE, Spain. He speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Catalan.

Bio: Martijn Eikelenboom is a Partner in the Amsterdam office of Arthur D. Little. He combines a total of over 20 years of strategy consulting experience with five years of line management as CEO for a leading media publisher, distributor and retailer.
Ma rtijn Eikelenboom has been responsible for corporate and marketing strategy, as well as performance improvement assignments in the industrial goods, clean tech, energy/utilities, chemicals, professional services, media, food/beverage, waste, and packaging industries. His areas of expertise include transaction support, sustainability strategy, business model innovation, direct marketing and innovation management. He holds a BBA from Nyenrode University, Netherlands and an MBA from IESE, Barcelona, Spain, and is a graduate of AMP of Harvard Business School.

Bio: Martin Glaumann is a Partner based in the Stockholm office of Arthur D. Little. He leads the Nordic TIME (Telecommunication, Information, Media & Electronics) Practice and is affiliated with the Travel & Transportation practice. His professional focus is on strategy and organizational development, product portfolio management and operational efficiency. He has been an advisor in several large public procurement processes on both the buyer and supplier side. Before joining Arthur D. Little in 2007 Martin worked for over 10 years in various executive positions in the telecom industry, including sales & marketing, product management and technical consultancy services.
Martin Glaumann holds an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics and a Master of Business Administration with focus on international business from Uppsala University.

Bio: Yusuke Harada is based in Arthur D. Little's Tokyo office. His professional focus is on strategic planning and organization. He has major industry experience in the manufacturing and high-technology industries, as well as in the automotive industry. Yusuke holds a B.E. in Metallurgy and Material Science from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, an M.S. in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) and an M.S. in International Business Management from M.I.T.’s Sloan School of Management.

Bio: Didier Levy is a Director at Arthur D. Little, based in the Paris office. He has extensive experience in strategy, marketing & distribution, organization and transformation projects in the TIME (Telecommunications, IT, Media and Electronics) sector, as well as in other industrial and services sectors.
For many years Didier Levy has assisted players in the telecom and media industry (mobile, fixed, broadband, pay-TV, vendors) across multiple geographies. In particular he has led many projects in growth strategy, product design and pricing, distribution and operational performance improvement.
Didier Levy is a graduate of HEC Paris and holds an MSc from the London School of Economics.

Bio: Diego MacKee is a digital strategist with long experience from the telecom industry Diego is an expert in how digital impacts several sectors. Alongside this expertise, he has specific experience with Big Data. In the domain of technology, Diego has led several IT intensive assignments spanning across telecom, retail, banking and power & utilities, with Change as the major topic. He has spent his last twenty years doing business in the Nordics, with focus in Norway. He has successfully build up and managed consulting practices in global consulting companies. Apart from being a consultant, he spent seven years in Telenor in different management positions mainly in marketing, sales and product management.

Bio: Michael Opitz is a Director at Arthur D. Little Central Europe, based in the Munich office. He leads the Central European TIME (Telecommunications, IT, Media and Electronics) Practice. He has extensive experience in strategy, organization and transformation projects in the TIME sector, across multiple geographies. In particular he has led many projects in growth strategy, digital transformation, business and IT alignment, customer experience management, and operational performance improvement.
Michael Opitz received his master of Business Administration degree and his Ph.D. from the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg.

Bio: Gregory Pankert is a Partner based in Arthur D. Little’s Brussels Office, and leads the Global Cable Competency Center for the TIME (Telecom, Information, Media and Electronics) Practice. His experience mainly covers market entry and growth strategies, content strategies, and regulatory strategies in all segments of the TIME sectors, as well as in other network industries (e.g. postal sector, utilities, transport).
Gregory has also built experience in leading company transformation programs, helping clients define disruptive business models and strategies and translate those into practice in terms of governance and organization redesign, post-merger integration, performance management and change management. Gregory is a Belgian national and speaks French, Dutch, English and German.

Bio: Jesús Portal is located in our office in Madrid. The focus of his consulting work is on strategy development, marketing & sales management and due diligence. He has broad industry experience in the manufacturing, aeronautic, energy/utility, IT and telecommunication sectors. Jesús Portal is an Aeronautical Engineer from Madrid Polytechnic University and holds an MBA from ICADE, Universidad Pontificia de Comillas.

Bio: Richard Swinford is a Partner of Arthur D. Little and based in our London office. He leads the TIME (Telecommunication, Information, Media & Electronics) practice in the UK. His professional focus is on operator strategy, license acquisition/market entry and corporate finance transaction support. He has delivered engagements for Arthur D. Little in more than 35 countries since joining the firm in 1998, before which he also worked in the transportation and manufacturing industries.
Richard holds an MEng in Engineering with Management Studies from Imperial College, London, and also spent several years in a research department exploring interactive device design.
