Maureen Kerr

Maureen is a Partner based in our London office. She is a member of the TIME Partner Group and actively leads the Media & Entertainment Practice. She is a core member of the Private Equity and Strategy & Organization Practices. 

In EMEA, she focuses on the following sectors: media and entertainment, marketing services and digital (AdTech and MarTech/advertising agencies), broadcast and TV production, film/TV/commercial lenses equipment, theaters and cinemas, and publishing.

Maureen is a topic expert in:

  • Corporate strategy and strategic planning/implementation
  • Commercial due diligence and market assessments
  • Media rights and film/TV economics

Maureen specializes in advising companies in the media & entertainment sector (the film/TV content production and broadcast, digital, and marketing services industries). Her work covers new business-entry strategy and implementation, M&A advisory, valuations, business plan reviews, and due diligence.
 
Prior to joining Arthur D. Little, Maureen worked for FTI Consulting in its London office from 2016 to 2021, and headed up the media practice in EMEA, supporting corporates and PE clients across Europe and the UK. Maureen also worked for Apollo Global, NewsCorp, Fremantle/RTL Group, and UBM plc, with remits across EMEA and the US. She co-founded MLJ Partners LLP in 2006, a business strategy and corporate finance advisory firm.  

She began her career at KPMG Management Consultants as a consultant in the strategy, economics, and marketing group.

In her free time, Maureen coaches Netball and Basketball in the London leagues. She is also an avid photographer.

At times, major studios launched films directly to streaming services, sidestepping shuttered theaters.
