Office opening in Jakarta supports ADL’s commitment to better serve local market

Arthur D. Little (ADL) today announced the opening of its first office in Indonesia, located in the capital city of Jakarta. The company is experiencing significant growth in South East Asia, and has established this local presence to better address the specific needs and opportunities of the Indonesian market, where ADL has been nurturing relationships with both government and businesses for several years now.

With a population of 267 million people, the Indonesian economy is already the biggest in South East Asia, and continues to rapidly expand. The opening of an office in Jakarta will enable ADL to operate more effectively in this market, as having a dedicated local presence is a prerequisite for working with government agencies. Building on regional growth in Singapore and Thailand, the Indonesian office is planning a dynamic expansion over the next five years and will be overseen by Yuma Ito, Head of South East Asia at ADL.

Ignacio García Alves, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ADL, comments: “With ADL already enjoying significant levels of business in South East Asia through our offices in Singapore and Bangkok, it makes absolute sense for us to consolidate and increase our presence in the region with the opening of this new office in Jakarta. There is a strong potential for expansion in Indonesia, and we can now follow up on a number of promising leads we were previously unable to properly fulfil. We anticipate a healthy pipeline of opportunities over the next few years, with Indonesia playing a vital role in our continued growth in the region as we look to move into additional territories, ”
