ARTHUR D. LITTLE APPOINTS OLIVER GOLLY AS PARTNER IN ENERGY & UTILITIES PRACTICE

Arthur D. Little (ADL) today announced that Oliver Golly has been appointed as a Partner and core member of the company’s global Energy & Utilities practice. As well as working with energy and utilities companies, he will also focus on delivering strategic energy-related consultancy for industrial companies and investors in the energy space. A member of ADL’s Central European Partner Group, Oliver will be based in the company’s Frankfurt office.

Prior to joining ADL, Oliver was a Partner and Managing Director at PwC Strategy& and a member of its European Energy and Utilities leadership team. In this previous role, he undertook a broad range of project work in sustainable energy, new solutions and growth strategies. From 2013-2018, he held a number of executive positions at E.ON, and before that, consultancy roles at Bain and Kearney.

With more than 20 years in the energy and strategic consulting industries, Oliver focuses on driving energy transformation and advises his clients on strategic growth challenges, M&A, capability partnerships, and sustainability strategies.

Michael Kruse, Partner, and Leader of ADL’s Global Energy & Utilities Practice, comments: “We’re very pleased to have appointed Oliver as a Partner in our Energy & Utilities practice, as his breadth of experience and deep industry network make him a really valuable member of the team. His long-standing presence in the energy sector means that he is regarded as a ‘trusted advisor’ by senior executives.”

Oliver Golly, Partner at ADL, adds: “I’m really looking forward to making a big contribution to ADL’s Energy & Utilities team. This is a sector that is currently at a major crossroads – on the one hand, attempting to lessen its dependence on fossil fuels such as oil and gas, on the other, trying to establish sustainable business models for renewable sources of power. Expert consultancy is a vital element in the mix as energy companies attempt to manage these two imperatives, as well as navigate the digital transformation that all modern businesses are currently going through.”

Oliver holds a diploma in business engineering from the University of Karlsruhe (TH) and earned his MBA at INSEAD in Singapore and Fontainebleau.
