The client wished to rapidly identify innovative new and emerging cap and closure solutions with breakthrough potential, including partnering options
Approach
- Our “smart analytics” bottom-up approach identified product-market combinations with the most unmet needs and innovation potential
- Each technology was assessed by technology- & EBITDA-attractiveness. Ultimately, 16 technologies were identified as attractive, of which six were the most
- Partnering and M&A strategy targets and building blocks were identified
- Finally, a longlist of 100+ players was developed and used to select 9 key players for further assessment
