Diversification is the way to stay ahead of the game Facing slower market growth, downward pressure on margins, accelerating disruption, and increasing demand for higher customer service, mobile network operators (MNOs) are realizing that TowerCos represent a key efficiency lever. TowerCos not only provide the opportunity to optimize CAPEX, but also allow for greater focus on core business and transformation. In the LATAM edition of a recent ADL study, we focused on how TowerCos should avoid the commoditization trap and evolve beyond “price and volumes” logic. In this Viewpoint, we assert that they must work toward partnerships, acting as value creators with differentiated products and turnkey solution portfolios.
