Shigeki is an associate director at the Tokyo office and a core member of the Healthcare & Life Sciences practice in Japan.

He has extensive experience and knowledge in the total operations area in SCM, logistics, and manufacturing as the Head of Operations. He also has experience in business division support operations working as the Director of Business Planning, including sales and budget management, the introduction of SFE, customer segmentation strategies, and new product launch planning. He has contributed to many projects, including providing support for the organizational and operational transformation of Japanese and Foreign-Affiliated manufacturer organizations for medical devices for strategic initiatives related to medical devices and their distribution, M&A/alliance, sales and budget management, the introduction of SFE, customer segmentation strategies, and planning for new product launches.

He is also qualified as an instructor of the Fair Competition Code of the Medical Devices Industry in Japan.

He wrote thought leadership papers that cover environmental changes in the APAC medical devices industry and also has made numerous contributions relating to COVID-19.
