Karin is a Partner based in the Amsterdam office, and a member of the “Strategy and Organization” practice. Karin’s focus is on commercial due diligence, and market entry and value creation services offerings for private equity clients. 
She has experience in the following sectors:

• Energy transition including solar, wind and low carbon fuels
• Food and agriculture, alternative proteins and ingredients
• Education, tutoring, learning platforms and content management
• Retail including duty free
• Airport, travel agencies and airlines

Prior to joining Arthur D. Little, Karin worked for Deloitte Netherlands, and was instrumental in the development of the  Commercial Due Diligence practice in the Benelux region, supporting private equity and corporate clients in their M&A transactions. Prior to Deloitte, she worked as a partner for two large consultancy firms: Alvarez & Marsal and Roland Berger. Karin also founded and developed an advisory boutique supporting clients in their M&A and turnaround activities.

During this time, she improved EBITDA and cash flow at multinationals, supported companies with M&A strategy and value creation, conducted commercial and operational due diligence, executed business transformations and led supply chain and logistics optimization programs.
